Springtime in Medicine Lake comes late. Now the lake is still shrouded in snow – waiting. But she is not completely asleep. Like a bear coming out of hibernation, she hears our thoughts. We are thinking of her and longing to be on her shores. Our thoughts pull at her and she responds, tugging at our hearts, pulling us magnetically to her. Before last March, I never knew this lake existed. Even now I’ve never seen a picture or heard a description. But this Lake of Mystery has the power to change my calendar, to have me send emails to Sophia, to write about her in my journal, to evoke a response in Sarah and in Tantra. We must go to the lake in July, and we all know it – how did Sarah describe it? – we all know it by the markers set within us.
The markers set within us are guiding me. The inter-dimensional beings that are my guides can flip these markers, activating them in the correct sequence and at the right time. The whole of the Mimzy Project was one big flipping marker-flipper. And now that my markers have been so massively flipped, I’m marked for life, and I live on the edge of the known and the unknown. On that fabled edge, you can either be afraid and hesitate or trust and step out. Step out even if you don’t know that there will be solid ground beneath your feet. Oh well, solid ground is probably over-rated anyway. Why live a boring life? Better to be walking a high tightrope with no net. Your feats of derring-do will amaze and delight everyone, especially yourself.
Epigenetics. The scientific name for marker flipping. I have given you permission to change my DNA. This is where our journey of love and learning has taken us. This intimate act where I agree to become a different person in my cellular memory because of the love, trust and connection between us. I was a person who would have violently resisted any attempt to change me. Any attempt to make me be not fully me. But this is different. This is taking me and raising that exact tone or vibration that is me to a higher octave. Me plus a matching, higher me. A me that is a step closer to the Me that was created from a droplet spun out from the ocean of God at the beginning of time. So yes, I trust that this process is safe. You can make my body crystalline, you can flip my markers and change my DNA, I’m game for all of it. And part of the deal is that I get to experience the tapestry of life deeply, richly, sucking up every drop of its delicious nectar.
